Boeing 777 Freighter Makes Debut
Just over six weeks ago, this site showed you exclusive images of the world’s first and largest twin engined freighter, the Boeing 777F undergoing construction prior to final body join and assembly.
Earlier today, in a glitzy ceremony witnessed by customers, employees and industry officials, the first 777 Freighter made its long awaited debut onto the world stage.

First flight of the newest widebody freighter is expected to take place in just a matter of a few weeks time as the airplane is put through its paces in anticipation of FAA/EASA certification prior to entry into service with launch customer, Air France in the fourth quarter of this year.
With much of the certification for the model already completed and validated through work done by the 777-200LR, the test phase for the freighter will be much shorter in comparison.
The 777F (currently) has 78 firm orders from 11 customers.
